We understand that you may have questions about your stay with us, and to make it easier for you, we have gathered the answers to the most common questions here for you.

Camping

All camping pitches are equipped with a 16-amp power point.

Pitches 81 to 87 are comfort pitches. These pitches are very spacious, have their own water tap and waste water drainage. On regular camping pitches, the water tap is located in the center of the field and there is no separate drainage.

No, there is no CAI connection.

If you wish to use your satellite dish, it is best to camp on the comfort pitches. These pitches have no trees, ensuring optimal reception for your satellite dish.

Of course, guests are very welcome. If you are staying in your own camping unit and need to add a small tent, that’s no problem. You are allowed up to two additional places next to your camping unit (€4.00 per night). Guests will pay the guest rate per person per night, plus local taxes. They may use all the facilities. Guests need to be registered at the reception.

You can rent a table-top refrigerator for €35 per week. You can add it to your booking directly.

Accommodations

If you have rented an accommodation, you can enter the accommodation from 3:00 PM and must check out before 10:00 AM. If you arrive earlier at the campsite, you are welcome to use all the facilities. After check-out, you can still use the campsite's facilities for the rest of the day and park your car in the large parking lot.

We prefer to have you check in before 5:30 PM, so we can welcome you personally! If that's not possible, you can call the reception in advance to inform them of your late arrival. You can arrive until 9:00 PM. If you check in outside of reception hours, the reception will ensure that the key and information booklet are available in the mailbox under the veranda.

All accommodations are well-equipped, including a kettle, coffee maker, and garden furniture. If you'd like to see the full inventory list before packing your car, please contact the reception, and they can send it to you by email.

Bedding is not included by default in the accommodations. You can add it for €12.50 per set. You can call the reception to arrange this.

Yes, this is possible! You can pre-book these items. Of course, you can also rent them on-site, but we cannot guarantee availability, so we advise you to reserve them in advance.

Smoking is not permitted in our accommodations.

We require a deposit when renting an accommodation. If we find that something is damaged after your departure, we will contact you. If there are repair costs involved, we may send you an invoice. If everything is left in good condition, you will receive your deposit back within a week.

Of course, guests are always welcome! Day visitors are also allowed, provided they inform the reception in advance. There is an additional charge of €1.00 per person, and they must check in at the reception upon arrival.

Car and Barrier

It is allowed to park one car at the pitch, except for the fields 'De Merel' and 'De Grutto'. These camping fields are car-free. You can park your car between 'De Merel' and 'De Grutto' or on the outside of 'De Grutto'. If you have a second car, it cannot pass through the barrier and must be parked in the parking lot next to the Eetcafé. So, please decide in advance which car you want to use during your stay.

Note: Mopeds, scooters, and electric bikes are not allowed on the campsite. They can be parked in the parking lot next to the Eetcafé.

It is not a problem if someone else brings your camping vehicle. They can check in at the reception and will receive the sepkey to operate the barrier.

The incoming barrier operates between 7:00 AM and 11:00 PM. The outgoing barrier is always open.

Waste

Our waste disposal station with two general waste bins, a paper bin, and a glass bin can be found at the entrance of the campsite. Here, you can dispose of your household waste in a tied-up bag, old paper, and glass. Cans, PET bottles, and other refundable bottles or glassware can be placed in the recycling container. The proceeds are donated to the good cause, the Sprank care group. The day activities of Sprank handle the collection and further processing of these materials.

Mail and Parcels

Yes, you can! You can have mail or parcels delivered to:
Familiepark de Vechtvallei, attention to your name and pitch number,
Rheezerweg 76, 7795 DA in Diffelen
You can pick up your parcel at the reception during opening hours.

Personal mail can be found in the mailboxes under the veranda.

Booking, Payment, and Cancellation

If you need to cancel your reservation for any reason, we will apply the RECRON terms and conditions. We offer a cancellation insurance, which is 5% of the rental price. If you have an ongoing travel insurance policy, this is usually sufficient to cover any costs. Please contact the reception to see what we can do for you, as each situation is different.

After making a reservation, you must pay 50% within two weeks. The remaining balance must be paid 4 weeks before arrival.

Certainly! Placing an option is possible; however, the option is only valid for a maximum of 3 days. This can be done by calling 0523 251800.

Pets

Pets are allowed on the campsite. They are not allowed in the shop, swimming pool, or in the horeca areas. However, if you wish to dine at the Eetcafé, your pet is welcome on the terrace, where our staff can provide a bowl of water.

Pets are welcome in all accommodations, except for our Chalet Putter. It is important to mention this when booking. The cost for a pet is €3.25 per day.

Yes, absolutely! If your visitors would like to bring their pet, that is no problem. If they wish to dine at the Eetcafé, their pet is welcome on the terrace.

Animation

During the summer holidays, an animation team from DABAR is present for 8 weeks. In the May and autumn holidays, there is also a super fun animation team available. Various activities are organized: for children, there is the kids' club and sports and games events. Of course, there are also fun activities for teens! Such as a weekly bingo, unique theme days, and much more! For more information about our animation, click here.

Other Questions

Yes, you can! Through our partner Hawe Rijwielen, you can rent bicycles. You can choose from a regular bike, an electric bike, a (electric) cargo bike, or a tandem. We also offer parent-child tandems and child seats for rent.

Yes, barbecuing is allowed, provided that preventive measures are taken to prevent fires, such as a bucket of water or sand placed next to the barbecue. For electric barbecues, it is recommended to check the amperage of your camping or pitch. When the national heat plan is in effect, barbecuing is NOT allowed.
You can also rent barbecues from us. Ask about the possibilities at our reception.

No, open fires are strictly prohibited. However, the animation team organizes a campfire at the campfire spot a few times during the season.

Our campsite is suitable for people with disabilities. There is an accessible toilet in the sanitary building. Our bungalow De IJsvogel and the group accommodations De Ooievaar are also suitable for people with disabilities. Additionally, you can pick up a ramp at the reception, which can be used for the safari tents and cabins.

The Finnish bungalows, De IJsvogel, and the group accommodations are available for booking year-round. The campsites and other accommodations are available for booking from April 1st to November 1st. Opening hours of all facilities may vary throughout the season.
